Admission Procedure

Admissions to all the courses are conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Directorate of technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. The dates and other details of such counselling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website (www.cgdteraipur.ac.in). However admission under Sponsored Category, Part Time courses and management Quota seats are administered at the Institute level.

Admission Under State Quota

For admission under State Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify in PET conducted by Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM). Thereafter, candidates having domicile of Chhattisgrah State are called for counseling by Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and accordingly to the availability at the time of counseling seats are allotted.

Admission Under All India Quota

For admission under All India Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify in JEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. Thereafter, candidates are called for counseling by Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and accordingly to the availability at the time of counseling seats are allotted.

Admission Under Management Quota

For admission under Management Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify either in PET conducted by Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM) or JEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. After the declaration of results of the entrance examinations as mentioned, advertisement is placed in Newspapers and also in the website for admission under Management Quota. Application forms are made downloadable from the website. Applications thus received are scrutinized and is finalized strictly on the basis of merit in the entrance examinations.
